Ingram Micro Cloud adds TeamViewer to the cloud marketplace

Ingram Micro Cloud announced the integration into the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace of secure solutions for remote connectivity from TeamViewer as part of a global cloud distribution agreement.
With the explosion of remote work, the dispersed workforce faces many challenges in terms of security, collaboration and support. According to Global workplace analytics , the number of employees working from home has increased by 173% since 2005, with 43% of today’s workforce working remotely quite frequently.
TeamViewer’s products will initially be available in 15 countries, including the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and several Nordic countries. The products will be available in the United States, Brazil and Chile later.
Ingram Micro Cloud will distribute the following TeamViewer products:
- Secure remote access and support: Allows system administrators to access servers remotely, securely from anywhere, without the need for a VPN. Corporate users can also use TeamViewer to remotely access their work computers from off-site locations.
- Centralised remote monitoring and management: Provides the ability to manage, monitor, track, fix, back up, and protect computers, devices, and software, all from a single platform.
- TeamViewer pilot: Provides remote assistance using augmented reality technology, whether to repair or maintain a device, or a machine; also enables rapid collaboration to solve problems or train colleagues from anywhere.
