M2M Summit celebrates 10th anniversary with M2M Alliance’s Academic Day

Among the highlights of this year’s M2M Summit in Dusseldorf, Germany (October 5-6) will be talks from Brigitte Zypries, Scott Amyx, and Eric Goodness, the M2M Alliance’s Academic Day,as well as an evening event that reportedly offers unique networking opportunities.
“Digital transformation powered by M2M/IoT” – the name speaks for itself at the anniversary event on October 5th and 6th. Just as in previous years, the Congress Center Düsseldorf in Germany will become a who’s who of the M2M and IoT sectors in order to present and discuss the latest innovations in the area of the digital transformation.
Along with Brigitte Zypries, the Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, Scott Amyx (CEO, Amyx+) and Eric Goodness (VP Gartner), who will take a look into the future of M2M, have already confirmed their participation.
The programme is full with more than 40 presentations and talks, panel discussions, the M2M Alliance’s Academic Day, guided tours, and a large evening event. Additionally, startups have the chance to attract attention with pitching sessions. Among other things, international partnerships, the internet of things (IoT), Industry 4.0, standardisation, data management, and security all belong to the most important event topics.
Visiting the M2M Summit and the accompanying exhibition is worthwhile for experts and users alike. Under the patronage of Germany’s vice chancellor Sigmar Gabriel, solutions, products, and possibilities for how users can benefit from the digital transformation will be presented at the event. As in previous years, the M2M Alliance expects 1,000 visitors from around the world.

With 86 members from sixteen countries, the M2M Alliance is the world’s largest professional M2M association.
