Nokia and Dawiyat Integrated collaborate to develop industry 4.0 ecosystem in Saudi Arabia

Nokia and Dawiyat Integrated Telecommunications and Information Technology Company, part of Saudi Electricity Corporation (SEC), are to collaborate on multiple projects to develop the ecosystem for Industry 4.0 in the country.

The collaboration supports the Saudi National Transformation Program (NTP) 2020 and Saudi Vision 2030, designed to enable firms to use digital tools for more sustainable growth.

Industry 4.0 technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, augmented intelligence and automation support digital transformation, which enables significant gains in productivity, efficiency, safety and sustainability.

Under the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Nokia and Dawiyat Integrated will work together on multiple initiatives:
