UK multi-network IoT SIM provider KeySIM has announced its membership of the London Internet Exchange (LINX), strengthening the company’s continued investment into carrier-grade infrastructure and resilient IoT connectivity services.

LINX is one of the world’s largest Internet Exchange Points, enabling networks to interconnect directly in order to improve performance, reduce latency and strengthen resilience across internet-connected services. KeySIM have joined Manchester, LON1 and LON2.

KeySIM says the move will help further optimise the performance of its growing IoT connectivity platform as demand increases for reliable, high-performance communications infrastructure.

The company is also a RIPE NCC member, operating its own network resources and continuing to expand its privately managed infrastructure as it disrupts traditional approaches to IoT connectivity.

Marek Isalski, the chief network and infrastructure officer at KeySIM, said: “Joining LINX is an important milestone for KeySIM and reflects a long-standing relationship with LINX and the wider interconnection community. Alongside my role at KeySIM, I also continue as Managing Director of Faelix, so I understand first-hand the importance of resilient infrastructure, efficient routing and strong network interconnection.

Direct participation within LINX allows us to continue improving the performance, resilience and reliability delivered through our multi-network IoT SIM platform as connected devices and critical IoT applications continue to grow.”

KeySIM’s specialist multi-network IoT SIM solutions enable devices to intelligently access multiple UK mobile networks, helping businesses maximise uptime and maintain connectivity in demanding environments.

Colin Peckham, part of the global business development at LINX, said: “We are pleased to welcome KeySIM to LINX. Businesses operating critical IoT infrastructure increasingly require resilient, high-performance connectivity, and it is encouraging to see providers like KeySIM investing directly into network infrastructure and interconnection.”

By combining advanced multi-network IoT SIM technology with ongoing investment into internet infrastructure, KeySIM aims to continue strengthening its position as a specialist IoT connectivity provider in the UK.
