Heltec Automation partners with Morse Micro to advance IoT connectivity with Wi‑Fi HaLow
Morse Micro, a provider of Wi-Fi HaLow chips, has announced a partnership with Heltec Automation to accelerate the delivery of Wi-Fi HaLow enabled devices and revolutionise Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity. Heltec Automation has integrated Morse Micro’s MM6108 Wi‑Fi HaLow SoC into a suite of five breakthrough products designed to deliver unprecedented long-range connectivity, high data speeds, and energy-efficient performance.

This partnership combines Morse Micro’s wireless technology with Heltec Automation’s expertise in hardware innovation to drive a new era of connectivity solutions. By setting new standards in transmission range, data speed and power efficiency, Heltec’s new Wi-Fi HaLow designs are poised to impact sectors ranging from smart cities and industrial automation to remote surveillance and intelligent manufacturing. Specifically, Heltec Automation has launched a new product line showcasing the versatility and power of Wi‑Fi HaLow technology. It includes the following five products:
- Wi‑Fi HaLow Module (HT‑HC01): A compact Wi-Fi HaLow module optimised for easy integration into a variety of PCBs, delivering excellent RF performance in the 902–928 MHz band. With long‑range transmission, multiple channel bandwidth options, and low power consumption, the HT‑HC01 module is ideally suited for battery‑operated devices that require extended sleep modes without sacrificing connectivity.
- ESP32 Wi‑Fi HaLow Camera (HT‑HC32): Built on the ESP32‑S3 MCU with the HT‑HC01 module, this development board offers high‑speed (up to 32 Mbps) and long‑range (over 1 km) wireless communication. It features a 200‑pixel wide‑angle camera with advanced image processing capabilities—including auto exposure and gain control—alongside support for Arduino development, integrated SD card storage, and comprehensive connectivity options.
- HT‑H7608 Wi‑Fi HaLow Router / Gateway: Designed for intelligent manufacturing, smart cities and more, this dual‑band gateway supports both Wi‑Fi HaLow and 2.4 GHz networks. Its flexible networking methods (AP, STA, Mesh) and robust hardware allow for easy configuration, OTA upgrades via web UI, and the simultaneous connection of a higher number of devices than traditional access points.
- Raspberry Pi Wi‑Fi HaLow Camera HAT (Pi‑CamLow): This purpose‑built Raspberry Pi HAT integrates a 5MP camera and HT‑HC01 Wi‑Fi HaLow module, enabling rapid remote transmission of high‑resolution images. With support for dynamic and static image capture and advanced imaging features, Pi‑CamLow opens new possibilities for Raspberry Pi development in remote surveillance and other applications.
- Wi‑Fi HaLow Dongle – 802.11ah Long-Range Wireless Network Bridge: Engineered to replace Ethernet in select scenarios, this dongle uses the HT‑HD01 module and supports four bandwidth modes for maximum flexibility. Whether paired with the HT‑H7608 router for star networking or used in point‑to‑point communication, the dongle provides seamless integration with existing networks.
