Veikul has achieved a step in its commitment to road safety. Through the implementation of Samsara’s Connected Operations Cloud, the company has reduced its fleet accidents by 60%, improving driver safety while reducing costs and optimising the use of its insurance policies.Veikul, a transportation and logistics startup launched in 2022, works with independent operators. One of its main challenges was implementing the necessary technology to manage and monitor its fleet, gain visibility into vehicles and drivers, assign operators, prevent accidents and provide evidence to exonerate its users in the event of incidents. The company recognised that safety was fundamental to protecting its users’ well-being and maintaining client trust.

By integrating Samsara’s platform into its fleet, Veikul has gained unprecedented visibility into its vehicles and drivers. AI-powered dash cameras, panic buttons and telematics devices have enabled the company to proactively identify and address risk factors, improving road safety and reducing costs associated with accidents.

Key results achieved by Veikul include:

“Samsara provides us with plug-and-play technology, is developer-friendly, and gives Veikul the scalability we needed,” said Sebastián Peña Laris, Co-founder and CEO of Veikul.

The Veikul team continues to explore ways to use Samsara’s data and technology to drive further improvements in fleet maintenance, optimise resources and strengthen both road safety and asset protection protocols.
