LocatorX has announced two new members to its strategic advisory board, Colonel Michael Stephens (retired) and Joshua Bass. These additions further strengthen the company’s commitment to expanding its partnerships and Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for the government and defense sectors.

“We are excited to welcome both Retired Colonel Stephens and Joshua Bass to our Strategic Advisory Board as we continue to accelerate our core market segments,” said Chester Kennedy, the CEO at LocatorX. “Colonel (Ret) Stephens’ extensive experience in the field, and his understanding of the complex supply chain challenges our military encounters daily, will provide significant insights as we develop our offerings to address the critical needs of our defense clients.”

COL (Ret) Stephens is currently the rirector of army programmes for Systecon North America where he leads corporate strategy for U.S. Army programmes. He retired after serving 28 years in the United States Army. His most recent assignment prior to retirement was serving as the deputy director of the Army Materiel Command Organic Industrial Base Modernization Task Force.

“Knowing where items are located is paramount to the success of a base and an operation. Speed is critical in the field, having real-time, accurate information on all materiels is a must. I look forward to partnering with the LocatorX team and providing my insights to help further enhance their product innovation,” said Col (Ret) Stephens.

Joshua Bass currently leads task order and operations at TCSI. He has an extensive track record of success spanning over 20 years holding multiple roles in Foreign Military Sales (FMS), logistics, program management, and supporting multiple partners.

“Joshua’s experience in the defense sector, combined with his deep understanding of Foreign Military Sales, will be invaluable as we expand our channels to continue to deliver critical data and visibility solutions through new strategic partnerships,” added Kennedy.

Bass said, “LocatorX has developed a fundamental solution that solves critical visibility challenges across the defense and logistics supply chain. I have encountered some of these challenges firsthand working with various partners and DOD agencies. I am excited to partner with the LocatorX team and use my experience to help drive additional opportunities and expand the GTM strategy.”
