Globalgig has announced availability of its Orchestra platform in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, an online market for buying and selling cloud solutions certified to run on Azure. The Azure Marketplace helps connect companies seeking new cloud-based solutions with partners who have developed solutions that are ready to use.
Orchestra provides customers with a single, cloud-based platform to manage global network services, simply and efficiently. The platform provides access to wireless, network services, managed services, and equipment inventories, and enables users to take advantage of self-service and advanced reporting capabilities for wireless services worldwide. Mobile virtual network operators can bundle Orchestra with their own services to deliver a more complete offering to their end customers.
Globalgig is also a member of the Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC) programme. This eligibility allows organisations to procure Globalgig managed network services directly through the Azure Marketplace, while fulfilling Globalgig’s marketplace consumption commitment.
“We are excited to be able to offer Orchestra on the Marketplace,” states Ernest Cunningham, CEO of Globalgig. “Customers will be able to tap into Orchestra’s diverse management and expansive reporting capabilities, so they can get more out of their services, and will benefit from rapid deployment through the MACC program.”
As a SaaS platform, Orchestra is accessible via a range of APIs for optimised performance. Globalgig also uses APIs to connect with suppliers globally, allowing for provisioning and service repairs. The Orchestra platform includes:
- Wireless management capabilities, which help users stay in control of SIM (subscriber identity module) inventory, usage, and spending
- Highly secure features, including multi-factor authentication and role permissions for customers. Additionally, Globalgig’s software and systems are SOC2, Type II compliant
- Powerful wireless reporting capabilities, including service usage, current month usage, call data record export, historical usage by plan and advanced filtering options
Jake Zborowski, general manager, Microsoft Azure Platform at Microsoft Corporation says, “We’re pleased to welcome Globalgig to the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, which gives our partners great exposure to cloud customers around the globe. Azure Marketplace offers world-class quality experiences from global trusted partners with solutions tested to work with Azure.”
Globalgig provides enterprises with a full suite of managed networking services, including SD-WAN (software-defined wide area network) and SASE (secure access service edge), global networking, mobility and IoT and voice.
