ATX joins NCTC’s Connected Supplier Partnership Programme
ATX Networks, a global provider of broadband access and media distribution solutions, recently joined the Connected Supplier Partnership Programme of the National Content & Technology Cooperative (NCTC). This represents more than 700 independent cable and broadband operators across the U.S. in programming and technology acquisition.
NCTC’s Connected Supplier Partnership Programme is designed to mutually benefit NCTC members and supplier partners by facilitating a business relationship between the two groups, as well as offering education, speed to market, operational efficiencies and value.
“We couldn’t be more excited to be a member of this vibrant MSO ecosystem and show off our technology and expertise at this year’s The Independent Show as a supplier partner,” says Jess Zelaya, ATX VP of global channel sales. “The hundreds of MSOs represented by the NCTC form the backbone of the North American cable industry and we look forward to working with the collective to help its members evolve and optimize their content and connectivity offerings to best serve their subscribers in the future.”
The newly relationship enables NCTC members to purchase ATX’s Areca hybrid supercapacitor energy storage modules, the Visium MD8 commercial services media gateway and ATX Professional Services. NCTC members can also acquire ATX solutions, including outside plant, digital optical and media distribution equipment, through ATX distribution partners that are also members of the NCTC Connected Supplier Partnership Programme.
ATX will be exhibiting as a supplier member at the upcoming The Independent Show (TIS). In addition to showcasing its Areca backup power and energy storage solution, Visium MD8 media gateway, as well as professional services offerings, ATX will provide TIS attendees with the opportunity to explore the company’s GigaXtend GMC 1.2GHz and 1.8GHz HFC amplifiers and the commercially deployed GigaXtend XS 2GHz taps and passives. ATX will also showcase its GigaWave digital optical transport equipment at its TIS booth (#524).
