Nuki Keypad 2.0 unlocks smart door with biometrics solutions by Fingerprints
Nuki, the European market provider of smart access solutions, has launched a accessory that ensures faster, more secure and convenient unlocking of smart doors. The Nuki Keypad 2.0 opens a Nuki Smart Lock via a 6-digit entry code or now as a new feature using fingerprint recognition. The Nuki Keypad 2.0 is equipped with Fingerprints´ sensor FPC1025 and can store up to 20 fingerprints. On top of that, 200 individual entry codes can be assigned.
Fingerprints can be set up and saved with the Nuki app enabling users to unlock their door using the fingerprint sensor directly integrated in the Keypad. The accessory is compatible with the Nuki Smart Lock 2.0, 3.0 and 3.0 Pro.
The release from Austrian-headquartered Nuki is ideal for people who want the extra convenience and security of biometrics because the fingerprint scanner learns with each use. The solution is also for those that can’t or don’t want to use a code such as young children or seniors and for those who don’t have their own smartphone. The self-learning fingerprint scanner even works for children at primary school age.
“The Nuki Keypad 2.0 combines robust access control with speed and convenience, giving users peace of mind because they know their property is protected by the highest level of security,” comments Michel Roig, Fingerprints’ president of payment and access. “We are proud to offer support to innovative lock makers and suppliers who value the many advantages that smart biometrics solutions provide.”
