Zettaset achieves FIPS certification, partners with TD SYNNEX to bring one-click-compliance to the U.S. public sector
San Francisco, United States – Zettaset, a provider of data protection solutions, announced that it is now FIPS 140-2 certified, validating that the company’s data protection solutions satisfy security standards required for federal agencies. Zettaset’s FIPS certification will play a significant role in the company’s federal and public sector strategy. Together with TD SYNNEX public sector, part of TD SYNNEX, Zettaset will accelerate cybersecurity deployments with a one-click-compliance solution for federal, state and local government organisations.
The increasing need for data compliance in the federal space has never been greater. In 2021, the Biden Administration signed an executive order (EO) aimed to improve the nation’s cybersecurity efforts in the fight against sophisticated malicious cyber-attacks targeted at both the public and private sector. As part of this mandate, the EO released a set of guidelines created to support a plan towards the adoption and implementation of Zero Trust architectures.
“Together with TD SYNNEX Public Sector, we are helping organisations build Zero Trust architectures. Zettaset’s data protection capabilities will play a pivotal role in allowing U.S. public sector organizations to secure high value assets in any cloud environment,” says Tim Reilly, CEO, Zettaset, “TD SYNNEX public sector’s cloud solutions team understands the U.S. public sector challenges that result from cloud adoption. We are confident in the power of Red Hat OpenShift solutions and together we are creating a simple and secure path to one-click-compliance.”
TD SYNNEX public sector will bundle Zettaset XCrypt for Red Hat Openshift along with Red Hat’s hybrid cloud solutions. Through its channel ecosystem, the company’s Cloud Solutions team will sell Zettaset’s cloud-native data protection for DevOps-driven environments along with Red Hat’s cloud solutions. As a result, U.S. public sector organisations can more securely develop and operate software applications in any cloud environment.
Zettaset’s XCrypt OpenShift is a software-only solution that enables the protection of data stored in Red Hat OpenShift container environments. The solution provides an unparalleled level of transparency and flexibility to protect container data across on-premises, hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
“We are excited to partner with Zettaset and bring their data protection products to the U.S. public sector channel in the federal, state and local government market segments,” says Eddie Franklin, senior vice president of public sector sales, TD SYNNEX Public Sector. “U.S. public sector organisations are under tremendous pressure to improve their cybersecurity postures. Zettaset gives them the ability to help secure data in any cloud environment, while being able meet data compliance requirements using Zero Trust.”
