Schlumberger opens INNOVATION FACTORI in Houston to expand global AI network
Houston, Texas, USA. 11 March 2022 – Schlumberger expanded its successful INNOVATION FACTORI network and opened a new centre in Houston, Texas. INNOVATION FACTORI enables it to accelerate the development and deployment of enterprise-grade AI and digital solutions across exploration, production and new energy systems within the context of its clients’ business challenges.

These applications integrate with Agora* edge AI and IoT solutions. Through Schlumberger’s partnership with Dataiku, customers also gain access to a powerful machine learning platform with unmatched artificial intelligence capabilities. Together with Dataiku, Schlumberger will enable customers to design, deploy, govern and manage AI and analytics applications with a simple, centralised platform, enabling everyday users to develop “low-code, no-code” AI solutions.
Since launching INNOVATION FACTORI in March 2021, Schlumberger has delivered more than 200 digital innovation projects to clients around the world, supported by more than 4,000 industry experts and more than 800 data scientists. INNOVATION FACTORI in Houston enhances this expanding global network. The network also includes centres in Rio de Janeiro, Abu Dhabi, Beijing, Kuala Lumpur and Oslo.
