Electrocomponents appoints Barry as chief people and culture officer

London, UK. 24th January 2022 – Electrocomponents plc, a global omni-channel provider of product and service solutions, has announced the appointment of Jordan Barry as the Group’s new chief people and culture officer. He will report to CEO, Lindsley Ruth.
Jordan will play a fundamental role in developing a first-class talent and leadership experience, alongside an organisational culture that excites and empowers its people.
With a background in delivering cultural transformation, Jordan will lead the Group’s talent and leadership capabilities and the development of an organisational culture that empowers its people.
An award-winning HR executive, Jordan started his career at Shell in a variety of international HR positions before moving into various C-suite roles at organisations such as Tesco Bank and Money Mart Financial Services. His most recent position was as chief people officer for the Motor Insurers’ Bureau.
Jordan is a renowned people and culture expert with a strong track record in supporting boards and CEOs to develop high-performing executive committees that transform organisational performance. He is a qualified executive coach and a board trustee for the Proud Trust supporting LGBTQ+ youth in the North West of England.
