HC Technologies and Sigfox launch 3 new devices to bring the IoT revolution
HC Technologies and Sigfox, the IoT service provider and initiator of the 0G network, have announced the launch of three new devices to support and accelerate the digitalisation process of factories and industrial facilities.
This process is usually hindered by two main factors, the perceived complexity of such integrations, on the one hand, and the astronomical costs associated with making your machines and installations smart through the alternatives offered by the big PLC brands on the other.
As pressure from different stakeholders and competitors to innovate with IoT increases to stay ahead in the market, these two elements keep hampering the widespread adoption of smart factory solutions. This is particularly impactful when it comes to small and mid-size companies, with more limited resources and still-developing technological backgrounds.
This is the premise that led to the development of this set of devices and plug and play solutions. With it, existing machinery can become smart effortlessly leveraging PLC installations and with the best security standards. The goal, making Industrial Internet of Things simple, for companies of any size and tech background to benefit from the advantages that this technology is infusing into the market.
Parameters like production performance, status of quotas or inputs required at each production line and manufacturing cycles can be easily monitored from anywhere using a computer, tablet or smartphone and in real-time. Information that can be also combined with peripheral data points like temperature, humidity, pressure, creating a well-rounded picture of your factory floor operations.
