Sentiance, a motion intelligence company, has acquired BrandNewHealth, a fully scalable personalised digital coaching service that offers tailor-made programs for companies and organisations to provide workplace mobility, health promotion, population health improvement and chronic disease coaching.
Founded in 2003, BrandNewHealth specialises in cost-effective personalised mobile coaching, with a focus on helping companies improve the health, well-being and mobility of their employees and the communities they live in. The broader scope of the acquisition of BrandNewHealth bolsters Sentiance’s ability to deploy its motion intelligence platform to offer behavioural change programs in the healthcare, insurance and mobility industries. As part of the acquisition, BrandNewHealth’s founder and managing director, Claudia Put, will be joining Sentiance as VP, Healthcare. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Sentiance’s motion intelligence platform turns Internet of Things (IoT) sensor data into rich insights about people’s behaviour and real-time context. These insights enable healthcare and mobility companies to create more personalised experiences and treatments for their patients and to easily adapt to their behaviours in real-time. Some of the largest healthcare and mobility companies in the world are already working with Sentiance in a broad range of applications from health coaching, to smart adherence programs, gait analysis, usage based insurance offerings and smart mobility and driving behaviour programs.
“It’s all about the people and improving their life. We’re thrilled to welcome BrandNewHealth to the Sentiance family and leverage their behaviour change expertise to help healthcare and mobility companies develop innovative and personalised programs through the use of Sentiance’s technology,” said Toon Vanparys, CEO of Sentiance. “Not only are they experts in behaviour change techniques, they have a proven track record of applying these techniques in attractive interactive tools and persuasive communications, tailored to the end-user’s needs and context.”
“Partnering with Sentiance will bring tremendous value to our clients seeking to improve the health, well-being and mobility of those they serve,” says Claudia Put. “Motion data from smartphones and wearables opens up a world of opportunities for behavioural change enthusiasts like us to create one-on-one digital coaching that is truly personalised to ensure our users achieve their personal goals.”
