Tecore Networks provides 4G LTE and 5G Core and RAN alternatives for rural carriers

Tecore Networks, a supplier of innovative mobile network infrastructure, announced its mission to partner with small to mid size carriers in providing comprehensive networks to rural communities that delivers the service they deserve.
Tecore Executives will be available to meet with interested parties at the Commercial Carrier Associations (CCA) Mobile Carriers Show taking place this week at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.

We have deployed technologies that date back to 2G, then moved on to 3G, 4G LTE and NB-IoT and now we are preparing for the emergence of 5G which demonstrates our path of long-term success,” Jay Salkini, founder and CEO of Tecore Networks. “We understand that new technology upgrades and expansions are significant investments for smaller sized carriers and our scalable, extensible and flexible solutions provide much needed security for that investment.”
Tecore’s latest preparation for 5G, the CoreCell-E LTE eNodeB, is a nodal component of the Evolved UMTS Radio Access Network (E-UTRAN). The CoreCell-E also integrates seamlessly with Tecores 4G LTE Evolved Packet Core (EPC).
Not only does its compact design and rugged shell make it ideal for the rural markets but also the ease of deployment. Due to the combination of the Baseband Unit (BBU) and Remote Radio Head (RRH) inside the CoreCell-E, no fiber is required to be run up the tower, enabling a quick roll out for network expansion.
