Saverio Romeo promoted to Beecham chief research officer
Saverio Romeo of Beecham Research
Beecham Research has announced the appointment of Saverio Romeo as chief research officer to broaden and strengthen the company’s programme of international market research and analysis in the Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) market.
Romeo was previously principal analyst at Beecham Research, a post he has held since September 2013 when he joined the company from Frost & Sullivan. Before that, he was a research analyst at the European Commission in Brussels. He is also a research Fellow at the Centre for Innovation Management Research at Birkbeck College, University of London, focusing on academic spin-outs and accelerator programs in the high-tech sector.
Romeo holds three post-graduate degrees: in Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technologies, and in Innovation Management and Technology Policy. Romeo also has an extensive background in software development.
