Teleena, a global IoT and MVNO enabler, and Tvilight, European provider of professional end-to-end street lighting control solutions, announced that the companies are expanding their current partnership.

This will take them into the international realm, with Teleena becoming a preferred global connectivity supplier for Tvilight’s international Smart City projects. Teleena’s SIM cards are currently the standard connectivity element offered in all Tvilight intelligent lighting networks.

Tvilight will rely on ‘IoT Connect’, a module in Teleena’s IoT Suite, in its overseas operations, enabling international hardware vendors to reap the benefits of wireless connectivity, outdoor wireless networks, and remote device management.

The partnership will allow Tvilight to lower its operational costs and improve its go-to-market strategy. In addition, Tvilight will explore the service billing possibilities of Teleena’s ‘IoT Bill’ module to offer its partners and customers optimal billing services.

Teleena’s IoT Suite consists of four modules and is a complete end-to-end service for the IoT ecosystem. The IoT Suite offers Teleena’s business customers a range of connectivity options such as 2G/3G/4G, low power LoRa and Sigfox, as well as connectivity management (‘IoT Connect’), device management (‘IoT Insight’), integration workflow management (‘IoT Grail’), and service billing (‘IoT Bill’).

This partnership will allow Tvilight to immediately enter the market with all the functionalities of Teleena’s IoT Suite enabling it to build transformational IoT Smart City solutions and monetise new business models.
