Bright Box selected as global connected car solution by Toyota Tsusho Group
Bright Box LLC, the European provider of the “Remoto” connected car platform for car manufacturers, with headquarters in Lausanne, and Toyota Tsusho Corporation announced the first international integration of connected car solutions for Toyota Tsusho Corporation.
Cooperation with Bright Box makes Toyota Tsusho a leader of the providing consumers with cutting edge vehicle connectivity and convenience.

The Bright Box Smartphone Integration solution will be deployed in 2017. For those with Android and iOS devices will be happy to know that they can remotely start their vehicle directly from their phone via the brand’s app powered by Bright Box. The app allows users to gain remote control of locks, headlights, the windows and, most importantly for the region, the vehicle´s air conditioning.
With Remoto, Bright Box delivers a turnkey connected car platform from a single source. It comprises all components that an automobile manufacturer needs: a certified Telematic Control Unit (TCU) to be installed in the vehicles, a web-based control panel and a customer app for the vehicle’s owner to control and track it remotely.
Also on October Toyota Tsusho Asia Pacific partners with Etisalat for connected cars. An agreement between Etisalat and Toyota Tsusho has been signed at GITEX which will see the companies collaborate to deliver “scalable, secure, interoperable and intuitive connected” car solutions and experiences to customers.
