PlanetOne Communications named to Verizon Partner Program
Building on its advanced connectivity and cloud solutions portfolio, PlanetOne Communications announced it was named to the Verizon Partner Program as a Platinum member.
The relationship broadens PlanetOne’s global carrier portfolio and ushers in new opportunities for channel partners selling and supporting smart devices and providing secure, wireless Internet of Things (IoT) connections and business intelligence to customers worldwide.
“The midmarket is big business for our channel partners and in order to bid the business and ultimately win the deal, agents and MSPs need easy access to a growing portfolio of proven cloud and connectivity providers with a reputation for regional, national and global excellence,” said Ted Schuman, founder and CEO, PlanetOne. “Our partners asked for Verizon and we delivered.”
The new alliance with Verizon is supported by PlanetOne’s growing Cloud Practice, which focuses on enabling preferred vendors, agents and managed service providers (MSPs) to quickly identify cloud-ready sales opportunities, close more deals and deliver exceptional execution and ongoing service. PlanetOne channel partners eager to grow their connectivity and cloud business can also click into the industry leader’s exclusive Cloud 411 program, a centralised, online education and resource center.
“In a connected world, maintaining strong business relationships with global carriers is a must – especially when you’re serving enterprise and midmarket clients who own branch offices and operate internationally,” said Robert M. Betz, president, Sky Technology Partners, an IT and telecommunications brokerage firm headquartered in New Jersey. “It’s great to see Verizon take note of the expertise, experience and execution PlanetOne brings to the table for channel partners.”
The Verizon Partner Program tailors regional and national opportunities for systems integrators, value added resellers, agents and solutions providers to accelerate delivery and adoption of solutions for meeting medium business requirements. In addition, the program features a simple, tiered benefits structure that allows members the flexibility to determine levels of commitment, and also includes simple-to-use tools and clear and consistent engagement processes.
Verizon also provides extensive training and certification curriculum for its products and solutions. Members can tap into a wealth of marketing resources and support from co-marketing materials to market development funds and joint event participation depending on member level.
