Renesas introduces performance entry-line MCUs

Renesas Electronics Corporation, a supplier of advanced semiconductor solutions, introduced a new Group of 32-bit microcontrollers (MCUs) in its RA Family. The new RA6E1 MCUs, based on the Arm Cortex-M33 core, are the Entry-Line MCUs to deliver 200 MHz performance. Perforce to acquire BlazeMeter continuous testing platform from Broadcom

Perforce Software, a provider of solutions to enterprise teams requiring productivity, visibility, and scale along the development lifecycle, backed by Clearlake Capital Group, L.P. (together with its affiliates, “Clearlake”) and Francisco Partners, announced that it has agreed to acquire the BlazeMeter Continuous Testing (“BlazeMeter CT”) platform from Broadcom Inc.. Rohde & Schwarz and Vector Informatik are collaborating on closed-loop scenario testing of automotive radar sensors for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving (AD). Coupling the DYNA4 virtual test drive simulation platform from Vector with the latest Rohde & Schwarz radar moving object stimulation system enables powerful verification of safety-critical ADAS functions. Renesas launches RX140 MCUs with 2x performance and over 30% better power efficiency for home and industrial applications

Renesas Electronics Corporation, a supplier of advanced semiconductor solutions, introduced the ultra-low power, 32-bit RX140 group of microcontrollers (MCUs), the latest addition to its entry-level RX100 Series. Built around Renesas’ powerful RXv2 CPU core, the RX140 MCUs deliver outstanding performance, with operation of up to 48 MHz with a CoreMark score of 204, equivalent to approximately twice the processing performance of the RX130 group.
